Andrew C. McCarthy: Why Trump is likely to be indicted by Manhattan US Attorney

Moreover, campaign finance infractions are often settled by payment of an administrative fine, not turned into felony prosecutions. To be sure, federal prosecutors in New York City have charged them as felonies before – most notably in 2014 against Dinesh D’Souza, whom Trump later pardoned.

In marked contrast, though, when it was discovered that Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign was guilty of violations involving nearly $2 million – an amount that dwarfs the $280,000 in Cohen’s case – the Obama Justice Department decided not to prosecute. Instead, the matter was quietly disposed of by a $375,000 fine by the Federal Election Commission.

Doesn’t that just speak volumes.  If you’re a darling of the Deep State/Elite/Status Quo then you’re punished with a fine.  If you rouse their ire then it’s jail time.

Who complains about the hypocrisy and injustice?  Only a few rotten eggs in that basket of deplorables.  Trump 2020.

Journalist claims ‘women-only’ plane sections could combat midair assault

‘Don’t mess with Santa’: Man protesting Santa at Cleburne church arrested on trespassing charge

A 31-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he refused to stop protesting outside a church that was hosting a breakfast with Santa event, police said.

When officers arrived, they found three men demonstrating outside the church.

Heather Johnson said two men holding signs confronted her on her way into church and asked, “Do you let your kids believe in a fake Santa or do they know who Jesus is?”

Wow.  There’s a lot of craziness to unpack here.  First, why are they described as “protesting”?  Why not describe it as “harassing”?  If it were 3 miserable men standing off to one side jabbing protest signs in the air and chanting some stupid slogan then one could rightly describe them as protesting.  But getting up in peoples’ faces and confronting them crosses the line into harassment, especially when it’s just 3 people.

Second, do I have this right?  Some christians are outside a church “protesting” other christians who are having an event involving Santa Claus?  Jesus Christ, people.  That factionalism is ridiculous.

Then again, Crazy people who hate Santa Claus isn’t much of a news story.

Kyler Murray apologizes after old homophobic tweets surface hours after he wins Heisman Trophy

Murray shouldn’t have apologized.  He said what he said when he was 15, and what he said wasn’t horrible.  He didn’t tweet that he was going to rape some girl (or boy) and murder their family.  He called someone a queer.  Meh.

By apologizing, he’s just giving more power into the insane Left.  Don’t feed the beast.

HERITAGE FOUNDATION: “How Modern Liberals Think”

He’s on to something with his understanding of Liberalism (aka Progressivism) but he comes across as believing that what the US Government does is always right.  For example, he might be right about M. Moore’s methods and motivations, but the goal of stopping a war with Iraq was a good one.  That was an immoral war.

From Killing Kennedy To Kremlin Collusion – Deep State Forced Out Of The Shadows

The intelligence agency fog both obscures and corrodes. An ever increasing number of Americans believe that a shadowy Deep State pulls the strings. Most major stories since World War II—Korea, Vietnam, Kennedy’s assassination, foreign coups, the 1960s student unrest, civil rights agitation, and civic disorder, Watergate, Iran-Contra, 9/11, domestic surveillance, and many more—have intelligence angles. However, determining what those angles are plunges you into the miasma perpetuated by the agencies and their media accomplices.

Nothing In Any Conspiracy Theory Is As Bad As What’s Being Done Out In The Open

Even if Mueller’s investigation did somehow prove that Trump colluded with the Russian government to steal the 2016 election (and it won’t), that act would still have been far less horrible than the ongoing cold war escalations that this administration has been continually advancing against a nuclear superpower.

I would like to point out that Trump wanted to normalize relations with Russia, but the Russian Collusion accusation and general Russo-phobia being pushed by the elite establishment have backed Trump into a corner.  Any attempt to treat Russia decently is immediately raised as an example of Trump being Putin’s puppet.

If we could see with fresh eyes what is being done to us and our fellow man right out in the open, we would recoil and fall to the ground trembling in sheer terror.

The President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board

This document was published in 1981 with the expressed purpose to “assist public understanding of PFIAB’s past role and the manner in which it can contribute to future national security.”

What I don’t understand is why at the top and bottom of each page of this pdf it states “Declassified and Approved For Release 2012/06/04 : CIA-RDP02T06251R000900290007-1”

Why was the document published in 1981 to assist the public’s understanding but only declassified in 2012?  Doe that mean that it was classified until 2012?  If that’s the case, how can a classified document assist the public?  By definition, doesn’t a classified document mean that it’s not publicly accessible?

Trump names hand-picked panel to supervise, investigate intelligence community

When did the PFIAB go dormant?  Was it when Bush II dissolved the board?  Has it been inactive since then?

The current members are:

  • board chairman Stephen Feinberg, a billionaire hedge fund manager and military contractor
  • vice-chairwoman Samantha Ravich
  • Safra Ada Catz — Oracle CEO
  • Saxby Chambliss — former Sen.,  R-Ga.
  • Jeremy Katz — former White House economic adviser
  • James Donovan — Goldman Sachs managing director and University of Virginia adjunct law professor
  • Kevin E. Hulbert — former CIA and FBI counterterrorism official
  • David Robertson — a New Jersey resident

That’s an interesting description for David Robertson.

Michael Froman, who is now U.S. trade representative but at the time was an executive at Citigroup, wrote an email to Podesta on October 6, 2008, with the subject “Lists.” Froman used a Citigroup email address. He attached three documents: a list of women for top administration jobs, a list of non-white candidates, and a sample outline of 31 cabinet-level positions and who would fill them.

…The cabinet list ended up being almost entirely on the money.

Citigroup Agrees to $97.4 Million Settlement in Money Laundering Inquiry

This isn’t directly related to what follows below, but it goes to show character.

Colts Neck fire: Keith Caneiro brother Paul was first hire for fledgling tech business

This is odd.  Keith Caniero is found shot to death in his front yard while his house is burning down with the rest of his family in it.  A few days later, his brother Paul is arrested for attempting to burn down his house with his family inside.

Both were working as consultants to Citigroup in an information technology perspective, perhaps installing security systems.

Were they working for an intelligence agency?  Keith also owned a pest-control company, and pest control is a good way to gain access to restricted areas.

  • both houses were set on fire on Tuesday
  • Paul was arrested on Wednesday for arson
  • The fire at Keith’s house (the one who was murdered) broke out after noon
  • The fire at Paul’s house was before dawn
  • Paul lived about 10 miles away from Keith

After the fire at Paul’s house, he and his family go over to a neighbor’s house.  Paul says that he thinks it must have been a gas leak.  His wife is shocked it happened to them.

One neighbor said that Paul appeared upset and left a short time later.  Another neighbor implied that they were with him/her until about noon.  That’s a confusing timeline and needs to be clarified.

Some time after noon on the same day, Paul’s brother Keith is murdered in his front yard, his house goes up in flames and his wife and children are inside.  Were they killed by the fire or were they already dead before the fire started?

Brenda Snipes submits resignation as Broward elections supervisor

Rats fleeing a sinking ship?  Broward County is the Mos Eisley of Florida.  It’s obvious that there was (attempted) voter fraud taking place, but it’s not surprising considering the history of the Broward County government officials.

Remember the Parkland school shooting? That took place in Broward County too.  Prior to the shooting, numerous school officials and private individuals voiced concern about the shooter-to-be to law enforcement, but those concerns were ignored because that would counter the official narrative that there were no problems with the school system or any of the students.  They’re all supposed to be intelligent angels.  In this case, the county-wide corruption cost 17 students their lives.

‘Master race’ comment by Kansas county commissioner draws calls for his resignation

Here is the relevant section of the video.  It’s cringe-worthy but it isn’t racist and doesn’t cross the line to a fire-able offense.

I imagine his internal monologue went something like this: “I’m upset right now, I should let the lady know it’s not directed at her.  She did a good job.  Oh, no.  Maybe she’ll think I’m angry at her because I’m racist.  I better say something to let her know that I’m not a racist. <insert cringe>”

El Al diverts flight after religious passengers cause uproar over Shabbat scare

I’ve found that no matter what the religion, the more seriously the adherents take themselves the more likely they are to get violent.

I mean, for crying out loud.  What sort of god do they worship that they feel the need to get so freaked out about being on the plane when the sabbath starts?

Sometimes things happen that are entirely out of one’s control.  Then, things are in G-d’s hands.  If one’s god will punish one for the things that are in it’s hands then that god’s a bit psycho.

In The News – 8 Nov 2018

[Macron] had previously got into trouble while on an official visit to Algeria for saying that France had committed “crimes against humanity” there in the days of colonialism. As his spokeswoman Laurence Haïm pointed out, the problem was not the offense this caused to French nationalists, but to the Jewish community:

What poses a problem is the term “crime against humanity.” There is a monopoly. . . . I think it is generational. In any case, there is a problem on the expression “crime against humanity” which for many people in the Jewish community can only be said relative to the Shoah. [Bold added]

I have a problem with that.  The term “crime against humanity” should not be reserved exclusively for the Jewish holocaust.

Entire US Election System in Question: Fraudulent and Suspicious Activities Reported Nation-wide – And ALWAYS to Democrat’s Benefit

I wasn’t paying much attention to the chaos that was Florida during the 2000 elections when it was happening.  It was Bush vs Gore and I think Bush was winning, but then there was all this drama about hanging chads which was throwing the election to Al Gore.  The US Supreme Court got involved and said that it was Bush who won.  “Selected, not elected” was the accusation against the Bush presidency.

Now, I wonder if the same nonsense that’s going on now was also going on then, that the election in Florida was going to Bush but then the corrupt local Democrats tried to throw the election to Gore.

I’ll say it again.  China is a far bigger threat to our country than Russia.

Tucker Carlson Denies Avenatti’s Claim of Alleged Assault, Says Man Called His Daughter a ‘W****’

Why won’t Avenatti return to his home under a rock?  He may have had something with the Stormy Daniel’s affair, but his support for the women alleging Kavanaugh of rape showed him to be an idiot or a liar.  None of their claims stood up to even the tiniest scrutiny.

The lawyer did not provide any evidence for his claims, nor does the video appear to show Carlson assaulting anyone.

Considering how unhinged the Left is becoming, I’m inclined to believe Carlson’s version of events: his daughter is called a whore by some guy, his son confronts the guy and then throws wine in the guy’s face after he admits it.

Maybe Carlson’s son is technically guilty of assault and battery, but where I’m from there’s a thing called “fighting words”.  You don’t call someone’s sister a whore and then double-down on it when confronted about it.

@TuckerCarlson – your stmt about what transpired is an absolute lie. Your daughter nor your son were called those things. The man never admitted it. Your son committed assault and battery.

So according to Avenatti, Carlson’s son just walked up to this guy and threw wine in his face for no reason?  Or is he alleging that it was because this guy is a gay brown immigrant?  And then Carlson got up and yelled at the guy, telling him to get out of the country?  I have a hard time believing that.

In a video Avenatti included in his tweet claiming Carlson “assaulted” the man, Carlson appears to be telling another man to “get the f— out of here”

I made the section bold.  In Avenatti’s tweet he claimed that You told the man to “go back where you came from” before the video starts.  I can see how someone could interpret “get out of here” to mean “go back where you came from” …if you’re an insane person.  Or if you’re twisting someone’s words to fit a political agenda.

Avenatti characterized the country club as being known as “anti-gay, anti-minority, and anti-people of color.”

If the country club is anti-minority and anti-people of color then how did his client get a membership in the first place?

Macron rips nationalism as Trump looks on: ‘Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism’

“Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism,” the French leader said.

“In saying ‘Our interests first, whatever happens to the others,’ you erase the most precious thing a nation can have, that which makes it live, that which causes it to be great and that which is most important: Its moral values.”

What are these “moral values”?  The article doesn’t define them.

  • Self-sufficiency
  • Putting the citizens’ needs ahead of the needs of people in other countries
  • Treating others fairly and equally
  • Expecting others to treat one fairly and equally
  • Immigration based on merit
  • Equality of rights for all citizens and legal immigrants
  • Equality of justice
  • Respect for the right to private property
  • Capitalism is better than socialism.

Those are all moral values which make a country thrive and be great yet they are not threatened by nationalism.

If a country doesn’t put its interests first, then whose interests are to go first?  The only viable answer is other nations.

So the United States is to put other nations’ best interests first?  But the other nations are not obliged to put the United States’ interests first?  Am I getting that right?

That’s a common theme among the looters and the socialists (but I’m being redundant):  You have to take care of me and my needs but I don’t have to consider your needs at all.

It’s that moral value which dies with American nationalism.  And if that’s the moral value which causes a nation to die then I say let it wither on the vine.

UK Blatantly Violates Norms of Decent Behavior

Venezuela is a socialist country that’s failing.  In and of itself that’s good, but its economic collapse is hurting the average citizen too.  Why is the US Government contributing to that misery by imposing sanctions?  Are they trying to ignite a coup?

Venezuela has one of the largest oil reserves in the world.  Why are they not using that to get out of their economic problems?  What do they intend to do with the gold they want repatriated?  Will it be used to help the country or enrich the elite?

Either way, it’s not any other country’s business.   There should not be sanctions in the first place, and Venezuela’s gold should be returned to them.

On a related note, Putin made a point during the Helsinki conference that no one noticed.  Just because Soros is an American does not mean that America is to blame for his global meddling.  Maybe the Intelligence agencies are correct (which isn’t guaranteed because they have their own agendas) and it was Russians who were members of the GRU.  Does that necessarily mean that they were acting on behalf of the Kremlin and/or Putin?

If we damn the Putin because of the actions of some GRU agents, then shouldn’t we also damn Obama because of the actions of some FBI agents?

Hey Democrats, Fighting Fair Is for Suckers

It was easier before Trump’s Presidency.  I disliked both liberals and conservatives equally (probably because I never thought too deeply about which side of the political spectrum I fell on; Government  was bad, ’nuff said.) and vocally opposed both the Democrats and Republicans… mostly the Republicans.  Both Parties are duplicitous but the GOP is worse because it’s blatantly hypocritical.  It’s candidates campaign on small government but always increase its size and scope when elected.  At least the Democrats are honest… they campaign on bigger government, higher taxes and a “free” lunch and deliver as much when elected.

Now, more and more, I find myself tolerant of and leaning towards the conservatives and Republicans, and despising the liberals and Democrats.  It’s not that I support the Republican party more than I used to.  It’s that the Democrats and Left in general are so bat-shit crazy that any refutation of their ideas inadvertently defends the Republicans.

Has the Left gone completely insane or are they finally showing their true colors?  Maybe the two aren’t mutually exclusive?  Their anti-Trump rhetoric has gone beyond the bounds of reason along with their belief that everyone who doesn’t agree with them is a nazi, fascist, xenophobic, homophobic, trans-phobic, misogynistic, white supremacist, racist bigot.

The article on that I linked to is a good example of this.

“If Democrats are wise, they will embrace President Donald Trump’s demonstration that there no longer are any unwritten rules in American politics…”

It’s about time that the right stop playing by those unwritten rules.  The left did so decades ago and it’s put the right at a disadvantage ever since.  As Saul Alinsky wrote, “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

We ought to be past surprise, for example, that the “let the people decide” standard invented by Mitch McConnell to block Merrick Garland’s Supreme Court nomination no longer applies now that Trump can choose a successor for Anthony Kennedy.

Wait, what?  How is it that it’s not “let the people decide” this time?  How is it more democratic to have a President in his eighth and last year of office pick a Supreme Court justice than it is to have a President in the second year of his first term do the same?

Maybe Rob Goodman is referring to the elections this November?  I hope not because I’d like to believe he’s smarter than that.  This country holds elections every two years.  If the President waited until every petty election concluded, he would get nothing done.

The people decided when they elected Trump as President, and a lame-duck President shouldn’t try to impose his will on the people.

And that’s just the first three paragraphs (I skipped over the second, which is so full of nonsense it’s staggering).  There’s so much to debunk in this article, but I have limited time and other sites to visit.

The overall flaw with the article is that the author presumes that American liberal democracy is a thing worth preserving.  At least half the country thinks it isn’t.  American liberal democracy has metastasized into socialism and that goes against the the principles this country was founded upon.
